Valentine's Day printable via We Heart Parties

Are you ready for Valentine's Day? This holiday can get a bad rep sometimes, but any day that is all about romance, wine, and dessert is just fine with me! Cannoli Siciliana:

Ingredients:

12 shells (Can be purchased in any Italian bakery)

For the Filling:

3 cups ricotta cheese

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/4 cup cinnamon

1/2 tablespoon vanilla

3 tablespoons citron peel, chopped

3 tablespoons orange peel, chopped

6 glazed cherries, chopped

Directions:

Mix ricotta thoroughly with sifted dry ingredients. Add vanilla and fruit peel. Mix and blend well. (A little grated pistachio may be added if desired.) Chill in refrigerator before filling shells. Decorate each end with a piece of glazed cherry and sprinkle shells with powdered sugar. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
